HERMES "Collier de Chein" Bracelet

The design translates from French as "dog collar." It originated in the 1920s when a client asked 'Hermes' to create a custom dog collar for their greyhound. In 1927, 'Hermès' adapted the studded motif into a fashion belt. The style officially debuted as a wide leather cuff bracelet in the 1940s.
